When my granddaughter drinks sometimes it seems like she gets too much water but she is only 1 year old ! Other than that we love it!

Great water bottles

We have 6 pretty young kids. They're 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 9 months. I'm pretty health conscious. Previously we had been using stainless steel water bottles, but then one of my kids was found to have lead poisoning. It was a nightmare trying to figure out where the exposure was coming from. The cups we were using were "Certified Lead Free," so i assumed that wasnt the issue. As time went on, i learned that most stainless steel insulated cups are sealed with a lead sealing dot. Usually that lead is covered, but through regular wear and tear, sometimes the seams may come apart. I couldn't see the damage on the cup, but it was the only thing that tested positive in our environment. Honestly i had paid a lot for those cups and expected them to be safe. Once we eliminated those cups, her lead levels came down to zero quickly. I found out that even the adult tumblers like the stanley cups have the same lead inside them that could leak without you knowing. I've been searching for a safer plastic cup for when we are on the go which is frequent! My kids drink a lot of water. So far we are loving these cups. I purchased 3 of the larger type and 3 of the smaller ones. I LOVE that the lids and straps are identical. The only parts that are different between the 2 sizes is the cup itself and the internal straw. It makes it simple to take them apart, clean them, and put them back together. Some cups and baby bottles feel like you're solving a rubiks cube to get them put back together! With 6 kids, i dont have time for all that. We went to a large festival today and the kids were able to bring their waters and wear them cross body with the strap or hang on the stroller clip. I also buy name labels. The labels can even go through the dishwasher and not come off or be damaged. I was able to label each cup with cute little name stickers to give each kiddo their own special cup. To sum it up, i really like this product. I'm very happy with how the parts work together and having a cup that i know is lead free. The first thing i did was a lead test on all the parts. Lead tests are available on Amazon. Theyre not expensive or hard to use. I highly recommend it. I don't trust "Certified Lead Free" anymore. Lead poisoning can be very damaging. Thankfully my kiddo doesn't have long term effects.

Ordered these thinking large

Too small. Not happy that I thought I was getting the large hand grip items, but got the little toddler or baby cups.
