Uncompromising: The Global Standard of Thyseed Materials
Ten years ago, a group of young people who had just become parents faced a hard choice. They were looking for the very first baby bottle for their newborns.
The shelves were full of options. Some were cheap, some were expensive. They looked similar, but the quality was all over the place. Some materials didn't feel safe enough. Others didn't seem to care about what a baby really needs.
That year, they all shared a new identity: Mom and Dad.
And in that same year, they made a decision together: "If we cannot find a product we truly trust, we will build one ourselves." And so, the brand Thyseed was born.
It started from a shared belief: A baby's first sip must be the safest one. Good material is the foundation of safety. It brings security to the baby and peace of mind to the parents, right from the source.
So, Thyseed's first step was finding "The Good Material".
This was the rule Thyseed set from the start. Babies cannot tell the difference between materials, but every time the bottle touches their mouth, it matters.
We looked all over the world to find materials that were the safest and felt the most like a mother's touch.
We chose Wacker (Germany), the industry leader for liquid silicone.
Wacker understood our goal: Safety must be guaranteed from the source. We worked together to create a special liquid silicone just for Thyseed.
We didn't just use this silicone for the nipple. We used it for the body of our "Big Brown Bottle," too. The whole bottle feels as soft as a mother, making it easier for babies to accept.
Parents know that baby products go through a lot—countless drops, boiling water, and sterilization. Old bottle materials were often too heavy or broke too easily. We needed a material that was both light and strong.
After many tests, we chose BASF (Germany)—a global giant in the chemical industry.
BASF provided us with high-performance PPSU material. It solved our biggest problems:

For the Thyseed team, safety isn't just about materials. It's also about what you see. We asked ourselves: "Since we are so careful about materials, why not let color be a part of that safety?"
Safety needs to be visible.
We researched how color affects a baby's feelings. We found that:
Help babies relax and feel comfortable during feeding time
Help parents feel at ease and create a soothing environment
To make this happen, we went to Germany to work with RAL, the global color experts.
The RAL team understood that safety is an experience you can see and feel. Together, we created an exclusive color:
Thyseed Brown (RAL 070 68 32)
Based on color psychology, this brown transmits a sense of security, just like a parent's warm hug. It helps the baby feel trust and relaxation.

Our journey taught us: "Good Material" is the foundation of safety. "Good Design" is the key to making it work.
